WP7 aims to identify the needs of potential users of an integrated groundwater assessment concept and to evaluate the practicability of the triad approach addressed in the project. Furthermore, WP7 analyzes the normative objectives and societal valuation of groundwater ecosystems and groundwater biodiversity, respectively, as well as the conflict constellations that can be changed or intensified by considering groundwater biodiversity in laws and guidelines.

Based on experiences with other environmental conflicts, governance mechanisms and recommendations for action will be derived for conflict management in the groundwater sector. The perspectives of the practitioners as well as the results of the socio-ecological assessment will be included in the joint recommendation for action (WP8).
